Round one: Dramatic draw in round one after famous smother by Dash Spencer-White. Skipper of the day Josh Mercuri inspired us to a three-quarter time lead but Park Orchards stormed home in the last and we split the points.

Round two: Valiant loss in round two after holding a half-time lead against one of the comp’s best. Skipper of the day Tom Mileto led from the front but Glen Iris was just too strong in the second half.

Round three: Cracking come-from-behind win against ladder-leader Hawthorn Citz. Goal at the death by captain Finlay Park gave us a narrow lead with minutes to spare. Jake Day set an (unofficial) U10 Leaue record with 17* while Sammy Rusjan’s running goal is an early contender for goal of the season!!! Brilliant team effort.
*Match stats recorded by Champion David.

Round four: Another nailbiter, another top team, another win. On the road again to Canterbury, led from start to finish, and managed to hang on. Koen and Barnsey were dangerous up front and skipper of the day, Archie, showed true courage in an electric first-half performance. Another great team effort.

Round five: We travelled to St Marys – who were above us on the ladder – and came away with a handsome win. Arguably our most complete performance to date. Skipper of the day Josh Hornsby led from the front with some bruising tackles and we had season-best performances from Jai and Isaac.

Round six: Back at Alfred Crescent and taking on another ladder leader, Camberwell. Skipper of the day Dash Spencer-White was as strong as ever and the team played some pretty football against a tough, talented and big opponent. In the end, the boys scored a great win but it was their teamwork that was the real highlight.
