Round 8: St.Mary's 8.8.56 d Fitzroy 0.2.2 Greensborough Park 1:00pm

Well, a week is a long time in footy and I think everyone would rather forget last weeks result. We got jumped early by St.Mary's, scoring 3 goals in the first quarter and never got into the game after that. Our plight was compunded by injuries before the game and throughout. Nothing went right all day, but our boys battled on regardless. This is one of the toughest things to do in sport, knowing the situation is hopeless, but battling on anyway.

Enough said on Round 8. Bring on Round 9 where we can go all out before the midseason break.
