Around the Grounds - Finals Week 2

Congratulations to our three teams in the Grand Finals on Sunday - the U10, U11 and U12 Blues - its fantastic to have three such young age group teams make it through and we wish them all the best for a great experience.

And commiserations to our Colts 1 and U14 Brown teams who were gallant in defeat at Bulleen Park after fantastic home and away seasons.

So Sunday will be a great day for the FJFC - and everyone is invited to celebrate Grand Final night and the end of the season at the Fitzroy-Victoria Bowling Club.

From 5.30pm until 8pm, FJFC parents and players will be able to get together and discuss the season that was.
$12 for adults, $6 for kids and drinks at bar prices.
Come along, regardless of where your team finished and hopefully, we'll all be toasting three new pennants.

2009 YJFL Best and Fairest

Congratulations to all FJFC players who represented the club at the 2009 YJFL Presentation Night.

The top ten players in each age group, as voted by the umpires over the season, are invited to attend. The following FJFC players attended.

FJFC Presentation Day - September 13

This season's presentation day will be held on Sunday September 13 at the clubrooms, WT Peterson Oval from 10am.

Each team will be allocated 15 minutes for their presentations. Click here for the schedule.

Anyone with boots to donate can bring them along on Presentation Day and put in the box provided.

These will then be made available for players at the beginning of next season.

Thanks to everyone who has donated their boots over the past few seasons - they have been much appreciated and well used.

And a special thanks to Sally and Chris who set up the Boot Swap program several years ago and who have cleaned and made available hundreds of boots since.
