Todays game was vs third placed Glen Iris on a fine day at their ground.

The first quarter saw Glen Iris open up with some good play, and despite the efforts of the boys, they dominated the quarter, leaving the Roys trailing by 32 points at quarter time.

The second quarter was similar to the first, with Glen Iris running strongly, and despite some good passages of play by the boys, half time saw the team down by 63 points.

The third quarter saw the boys play much better, moving the ball forward more regularly, resulting in a more closely contested quarter.

More of the same in the fourth quarter, with the boys playing better football without putting as much score on the board as they deserved, against a very good team.

Bad luck team, despite many good efforts and some great patches of play today, you were beaten by a very good team on the day.
