U-10 BLUE vs RICHMOND

It was “Home Sweet Home ” at Citizen's Park on Sunday for the Under 10 Blue side. Playing against Richmond, the Roys registered their first win of the season in impressive style.

Coach Grant Belchamber has always emphasised the importance of playing as a team and on Sunday the boys showed that they have heard and understand the message.

The Roys led from the first bounce and were particularly lively in the 2 nd term booting 4 goals. They continued the pattern in the 3 rd term adding 3 more goals.

Looking strong all over the ground, the Roys went into the final term 49 points up and confident. Richmond were not done with yet and they kept coming. The boys held strong, however, and they finished the game comfortable winners. The final score: Fitzroy 8 – 12 (60) to Richmond 1 – 2 (8).
