Quick Links | Expressions of Interest - Canteen ServicesThe FJFC is seeking expressions of interest to provide canteen services for three grounds for the forthcoming football season, running from Sunday April 11, 2010 until Sunday August 8 (16 weeks, with no games on 13 June and 4 July). There may also be finals over the three weeks following August 8. The three grounds are: Ramsden Street Oval (Clifton Hill), Alfred Crescent, (Fitzroy) and Peterson Oval (Brunswick Street, Fitzroy). It is anticipated that between 2 and 4 games will be played at each oval each week during the season. Modern canteen facilities are provided at each ground. Please send your expression of interest, including your experience and capacity to meet health compliance requirements of the City of Yarra to Michael Burke at mb@themalvern.com by no later than Wednesday March 17, 2010. The club can provide administrative assistance if required for the successful candidate. Registration and FeesONLY players who registered before or on Registration
Day on February 28 will be guaranteed a place in a team. Any players
who register after Registration Day in circumstances where full teams
are already formed in their age group will be placed on a waiting list,
but may not get an opportunity to play. No registrations will be accepted
after the end of the grading rounds (usually the 4th round). Pre-season
training has commenced, or will shortly commence, for all age groups.

JFC (see below) Boot Swap 2010Got any footy boots that don’t fit anymore or that need a new pair of feet? Sally Fawkes and Chris Grace, who have organised the boot swap for the past two seasons, have agreed to do it again this year. Boots can be dropped onto the front verandah at 14 Howitt St, Northcote, preferably cleaned. Sally and Chris will parade their wares at the 28 March practice match day, so donations before then would be greatly appreciated.
