News
This week’s game against Fitzroy 3 will be held as a Community Match between our two teams. As much as Phil (U12’s 3 Coach), myself and our respective teams would love to win the match and gain the 4 pts (along with bragging rights) both have decided to run out together and come back as one big team after the final siren, irrespective of the result.
Further to this, on Sunday, we will be celebrating the personal achievement of 4 boys 50 plus game milestones; Jason Estephan from Phil’s team along with Alec Webster, Max Gray and Lawrence Miriklis from our team. Could parent’s of the boys celebrating their milestones please be at training on Friday afternoon to help putting together the banner for the above boys to lead the teams out?
For any enquiries leading up to this week’s match and how to help with banner preparations and game day celebrations, please contact Andrew Webster on 0413 274 975 or andrew.webster08@gmail.com
So parents, please make time for this Sunday’s Community match against our respective other Fitzroy team and let’s make it one big event for the boys celebrating their milestones.

Captains Report
Round 7 –
When we played Glen Iris I think that we played an excellent 3 quarter game.
Paddy and Marcel were doing a lot of the hard stuff especially getting in and under and first for the ball.
Yianni and Harrison had a few great runs through the midfield; Alex kicked a great snap goal and did a great job tagging number twenty nine.
Zac’s goal was great; I loved how Charlie and James were hard at the ball.
The ruckman Jack, Euan, Wilson and Nick were great at the center bounce.
Tom and Liam were doing massive things along the boundary beating people to the ball then smashing it long.
Jordan and Harry took some damn good marks and Hughey and Leon were great in defense.
Josh, Alec and Louis were doing a great job up forward pushing the ball further towards the goals.
Joe and Angus tough in the midfield.
I played alright.
Next time we will play a better first quarter.
All in all we kept them goalless after the first quarter.
Thanks to Andy and Gerry who coached us well and of course the parents who came along to watch and support us.
Also thanks to Peter for organizing this game.
GO ROOOYSS!!!
